I will use it for overwintering perennial plants and protecting my Sedums .It's a nice setup, if you have some windy days I recommend you add more weight on the bottom.I also added support for the arches. But all in all nice design.finished assembly today , had to make more hoops distance of 5 feet spacing way to much sag in cover, zipper broke on first time closing ended up making a door, anchored to the ground but not with the flimsy anchores supplied , those pulled right out of ground, the cover had 2 holes in it had to repair with heavy clear duct tape, tried to tie door up and 1 of the tie straps ripped out of stiching of cover. the 8 windows are not very well stiched in added clear tape to tops to secure better, if it had not been all framed up and set in place, knowing the cover was this poor i would have returned item, overall had to spend an extra 250.00 to make it a decent set up, would i buy agian noSince I had already bought a similar structure, I already knew that you need to secure the plastic cover to the structure and the structure to the ground. Like the last one, I covered the frame with chicken wire before putting the plastic cover on to prevent it from sagging between the sections when it rains or snows. This structure is thinner and not as strong as my last one. We had terrible winds one day and I had built the whole thing but only had put in 2 garden stakes to secure it to the ground and was going to finish later. I knew I had to run out and do what I could before the whole thing blew away. I was holding onto a cross bar while the wind picked up a side of the structure a couple of inches so I pulled down harder and bent it. Luckily, I had my wits about me and didn't lift my feet, so the bend was not major but it worried me. Also, the wind was making the arc move much more than I had expected. It is good for the price, even with adding all the chicken wire, T-Posts and metal bands to secure it but spend just a little more and buy the ones that are $250-$300. My last one had a peak in the middle and was at the price range suggestedFairly easy to assemble, although I did make some major modifications. I don’t feel like it would have lasted very long without them. The sides of the grow area are fairly short and suitable for ground crops or shorter plants.I purchased this greenhouse to replace another one I had. The first one I had was made of basically the same materials and lasted 3 years. It was partially melted in a fire and I could not find a replacement cover. I bought a larger one that was similar to the first but the cover only lasted a year before it deteriorated. The manufacturer did not make replacement covers and I could not find one that would fit it. When I looked at this greenhouse, I saw that you could get the cover only and that helped me make my decision to buy it. I read the reviews and some people loved it and some people hated it. The first complaint was that it was hard to put up and the directions were not good. My husband and I put it up in a couple of hours with no problem. Another complaint was about the zippers. I found I just have to make sure the cover has a enough slack in the front and the zippers work well so far. The stakes were not substantial enough as another review stated. My husband staked it down well with better stakes on the bottom of the main frame. We put rocks all around the bottom flap and so far it has withstood some wind and rain. You could use bricks or wood. You just have to make sure that the wind can't pick up the cover. It only had one door and I thought it had one at each end. This isn't really a problem but it would be nice to have two. The ties to roll up the door and window could be better but they are sufficient for the job. All in all I am please with the greenhouse so far but I have only had it a month or so.The ties on this greenhouse have already disintegrated. It must be a defect because on the first greenhouse ordered they are still intact.Directions says 2 ppl 2hrs for assembly..I did it in 3 hrs by myself. The directions are all pictures, no words, and can be a bit tricky for someone (like me) who isnt that great at assembling things of this size. All parts were included, no missing pieces nothing was bent. Everything fit. The plastic covering seems sturdy enough. Once the covering is on straight, the door zips smoothly. Definitely watch the part labeled #10. Install it opposite end up from what the picture directions says to do. I read another customer review warning that issue as well. Installing part #10 per picture directions will cause both ends of the greenhouse to raise up, shaping it like a banana. Correcting the issue is much harder once so many poles are in place. But-It's up, anchored and hopefully will stay in place thru the upcoming fall winds and winter weather and (hopefully) be a great addition to my garden.
